LOST Returns!

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

The greatest show on TV returns tonight: LOST. A couple of years ago, my cousin, Arleen, got married in Hawaii and I thought it was the perfect time to do a LOST spoof with my family (fyi - The Ranch is the name of our family website). Here’s the teaser trailer:

Hey everyone! We were blessed to receive our very first Artistic Achievement Award for Video Production at VIDEO 08, an annual convention for professional videographers. We got the Ruby Award (3rd Place) in the Concept Video Production category for our “Napoleon Dynamite” movie spoof created for Cynthia & Gary Padre. Not bad for our first entry. As for the event, it was very cool… almost like the Golden Globes, sitting at round tables, going up to receive your award on stage while the clip plays on 2 big video screens… it was very surreal when they called us up. Anyway, if you want to see the video clip of the awards, click here. Thanks everyone for all your support. We hope this is just the beginning of bigger things to come…

We’re headed to VIDEO 08!

Monday, January 21st, 2008

We’re headed to our very first videographers convention in Orlando, Florida: The 4EVER Group’s VIDEO 08 Conference. We’re so excited to finally meet some of the best in the industry and to associate with other videographers that are changing the look and feel of wedding video. We have one entry in the annual competition (we entered the “Napoleon Dynamite” spoof from Cynthia and Gary’s wedding in the Concept Video category).  Hazel and I are looking forward to a great time on the East Coast and we will let you all know how it went. Here’s another look at “Napoleon TNT”:
