2008 WEVA Creative Excellence Awards
What an exciting year this is turning out to be for Red 5 Studios! We just picked up 2 Silver Awards at the 2008 WEVA (Wedding and Event Videographers Association) Creative Excellence Awards. The awards were for Pre-Ceremony production (Brianna & Mark Gentry Wedding) and for Concept Video production (Cheryll & Earl Anunciado’s M:I-3 Movie Trailer Spoof). 2007 4EVER Group Artistic Achievement Awards
We were blessed to receive our very first Artistic Achievement Award for Video Production at VIDEO 08, an annual convention for professional videographers. We got the Ruby Award (3rd Place) in the Concept Video Production category for our “Napoleon Dynamite” movie spoof created for Cynthia & Gary Padre. Not bad for our first entry. As for the event, it was very cool… almost like the Golden Globes, sitting at round tables, going up to receive your award on stage while the clip plays on 2 big video screens… it was very surreal when they called us up.
